Year 3/4 Camp

31/08/2018
On the morning of Wednesday 25th July, many excited Opals and Sapphires woke up early, finished packing their bag's, put on their extra warm gear and arrived at school ready to leave for camp. They were about to embark on their first school camp to Camp Mapleton for 2 nights and 3 full days. As they arrived at school with eager smiling faces the enthusiasm was in the air.
Once they had been farewelled by the School Community the Opals, Sapphires, Ms Bax, Mrs Ludwick, Mr Fielder and Chappy Josh got onto the bus for a beautiful drive up the coast through the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It was not long before they reached their destination.

Over the next 2 nights and 3 days our students participated in various activities including archery, rock climbing, flying fox, traditional stories and so much more.

Overall this was a great experience for our students to have and we know that they will be talking about their trip to camp Mapleton for many years to come.
Please see some outstanding writing pieces from the students below.
